P3087 - 12: - Fascia switch Fault - circuit short to battery ISO Code P3087 - 12 Customer Symptom Charging not happening Vehicle is drivable till vehicle HV battery is drained Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Charging not happening. Vehicle is drivable till vehicle HV battery is drained Lamp Status (If Any) Vehicle charging symbol is not seen when after the charging gun is plugged in vehicle charging inlet socket Fault Detection Condition When Fascia switch is pressed, charging gun will not be unlocked as Fascia switch connection to VECU (A55) is shorted to LV battery supply Normal Operating Condition When Fascia switch is pressed, charging gun will be unlocked Probable Trouble Area Fascia switch LV wiring harness, connectors Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory Component Details: Fascia switch is situated on the dashboard of the vehicle and is used for unlocking the charging gun, after the charging is completed. Preliminary Checks: 1. Fascia switch LV wiring harness, connectors 2. Visual inspection of fascia switch for damage 3. Check if Fascia switch is stuck in the pressed position on the dashboard Trouble Shooting: - Step No. Description Check point If Yes If No 1 Connect the service tool Is DTC in confirmed state?
