This document must not be used in anyway, such as copying and redistributing to third parties, without the consent of author. 2 Observe the fascia switch on the dashboard Check if Fascia switch is stuck in the pressed position on the dashboard Restore fascia switch to its unpressed state Go to step 3 3 Remove the LV battery connections. Check continuity between input pin from VECU and output pin of the fascia switch Problem is in fascia switch. Replace fascia switch Go to step 4 4 Remove VECU side connector Check continuity between A55 VECU pin to fascia input Continuity in wiring harness between VECU and fascia switch. Go to step 6 Go to step 5 5 If there are any inline connectors, remove each of them Check if there is continuity between consecutive connectors No problem in wiring between the inline connectors Go to Step 6 Problem with wiring harness or inline connectors between VECU connector and fascia switch Action: Replace wiring harness 6 Observe the pin on the VECU side connector– A55 Check continuity between supply pin and VECU pin A55 on the VECU side connector Problem is in VECU connector Action: replace VECU connector Go to step 7 7 Observe the A55 pin on the VECU Check continuity between supply pin and VECU pin A55 of the VECU Problem is in VECU Action: replace VECU DTC’s confirmation: - After rectification, ensure that DTC is not present in VCU memory using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer.
