P3111 - 15: V2X Switch sensor input to VECU - circuit short to battery or open Overview: ISO Code P3111 - 15 Customer Symptom Vehicle is drivable, but V2X function doesn’t work Fault Effects (On Vehicle) 1. If V2X switch is not working, V2V charging or V2L(for different loads) cannot be activated 2. If this DTC is triggered while V2X operational, then gun removal will not happen via V2X switch Lamp Status (If Any) Service lamp ON Fault Detection Condition Short to battery or open condition is detected by the VECU when V2X switch input is greater than upper threshold value Normal Operating Condition V2X switch input to VECU is within operating range and V2X functionality will work as desired Probable Trouble Area V2X switch V2X switch LV wiring Harness Powertrain VCU connector Healing Condition If DTC trigger condition is healed, DTC is present only in memory Component Details: V2X switch is situated on the boot space used for activating, stopping V2V and V2L functionality and also to remove the V2X gun. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check for loose connection of LV wiring harness between VCU and V2X switch 2. Check for damage to LV wiring harness connections between VCU and V2X switch 3.
