Trouble Shooting: - DTC’s Healing Confirmation: - After rectification, ensure the following points by referring engine parameters using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer. Circuit Schematic Diagram: - Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. Is there wiring harness electrical continuity between ECU pin 232 & Neutral Gear Sensor signal pin no.1 Go to Step 2 Establish continuity by rectifying harness connections as per the circuit schematic 2. Sensor supply line Short circuit to Battery. Repair the harness as per the schematic Go to Step 3 3. Sensor Signal line Short circuit to Battery/ Sensor Supply/ Ground. Repair the harness as per the schematic Go to Step 4 4. Loose/ Damaged/Open Connections of Neutral Gear Sensor signal and battery. Rectify/Replace Connectors Go to step 3 5. Are there any pins backed out from the EMS ECU Connector Rectify/Replace Connectors Go to Step 4 6. Check for damage of pins at ECU connector. Repair the harness as per the schematic Go to Step 5 7. Fault Still Persists? Replace switch and then if Fault still persists then Replace EMS ECU Follow the steps again for reconfirmation
