EMS ECU Flashing/Replacement Procedure – Do’s & Don’ts Do not interrupt or remove the diagnostic connector while the flashing is in progress Do not turn OFF the Ignition switch while the flashing is in progress Do not interrupt or remove the EMS ECU connector while the flashing is in progress Make sure that the battery voltage is healthy before initiating the flashing process Do not shake while plugging or unplugging the EMS ECU wiring harness connector from the EMS ECU in order to avoid pin bending issues Make sure there is not dust in the EMS ECU connector while fitting to EMS ECU Do not remove the EMS ECU while the Ignition switch is ON or EMS ECU is in power latch phase Do not miss any steps or sequence while Flashing/Replacing the EMS ECU 4.
