Correct in case of any abnormality - Step 6 Check battery voltage through multimeter, and if ECU reads lower value than the measured value, then replace the ECU. - Step 7 The ECU & multimeter are reading the same value, the charging circuit is also proper, but the battery voltage remains low even after running the engine for few minutes at higher load (>1500 rpm in neutral), then replace the alternator - Associated Parameters: Parameter Label Description DID Monitoring Battery voltage raw Current Battery voltage read by the ECU FE00 Nominal range - 11.5V to 12.8V Verification condition: Drive the vehicle in city and highway condition for 20 mins. Circuit Description: The battery supplies electricity to ECM even when the ignition switch is OFF. This electricity allows ECM to store data such as DTC history, freeze frame data, fuel trim values and other data. If the battery voltage falls out of range, ECM will conclude that there is a fault in the power supply circuit. Circuit Schematic Diagram:
