Throttle position sensor wiring short to supply 2. Faulty Intake Air Flow Position Sensor 3. ECU faulty 4. ECU terminal pin damage or bend 1. MIL Lamp ON 2. Possible low idle speed only 3. No EGR System operation 4. No Regeneration of the diesel particulate filter to burn off the soot build up 5. Reduced vehicle performance 6. Disabled drive mode option Lamp status: Check Engine Lamp off Malfunction Indicator Lamp on Checkpoint: Check Battery Voltage at Ignition off (Nominal Range 11.5V ~ 12.8V) Trouble Shooting Steps: Sr. No. Steps Specifications Step 1 Check whether the intake throttle connector is connected properly - Step 2 Check the ECU terminal pin for any damage or bend - Step 3 Check functionality of the intake throttle by actuator test in service tool - Step 4 Check for continuity between throttle connector pins 1, 2, 3, 4,5, and ECU pins A87, A66,A42,A15,A60 respectively. - Step 5 If the problem persists, replace the throttle body unit - Verification condition: Drive the vehicle in city and highway condition.
