Go to Step 5 Do the necessary repair 5 Check if the electrical continuity between the EMS ECU pins A61, A18 and the cruise switch pins is ok? Go to Step 6 Do the necessary repair 6 Check if the EMS ECU pin A61 is short circuit to ground/battery or open circuit? Do the necessary repair Go to Step 7 7 Check if the resistance between the EMS ECU pins A61 & A18 are as per design specifications for different switch positions (No switch press ~ 9080 Ohm, Master ON/OFF ~ 240 Ohm, Cancel ~ 630 Ohm and Set ~ 2880 Ohm & Resume ~ 1380) is ok? Go to Step 8 Do the necessary repair (clock spring/wiring harness etc.) 8 Check if the problem still persists? Replace cruise switch on steering wheel Go to Step 9 9 Check if the problem still persists? Call Hot Line Follow the steps again for reconfirmation DTC’s Confirmation: 1. After rectification read the DTCs using the diagnostic tool by operating different cruise switch states (No switch press, Master ON/OFF, Cancel, Set & Resume) 2.
