Component Details: he Speed sensor - pump shaft/input shaft used in clutch actuation module in order to precisely control the torque transferred by both clutches.. Preliminary Checks: 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections between Sensor and TCU. 2) Visually check sensor mounting& Air gap, proper tightening of mounting screws and any visible damage. 3) Check for damage or back out of pins at Clutch speed sensor connector and TCU connector. 4) Check correct fitment of ground cable connections on vehicle chassis. Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. Check the transmission wiring loom (angle sensor). If damaged, replace the transmission wiring harness. Is there any rust/oxidation/pin back out observed on TCU PIN 18 (Input shaft speed (pump speed) output) in transmission side TCU 28 pole connector? Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 2 2. If the issue persists, replace the input shaft sensor. Perform all the necessary transmission adaptions. Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. Go to step 3 3. Replace the TCU if the problem persists & flash the adaption data from the previous TCU. Clear the DTC and check if the DTC does not come back. • Resistance Check ➢ Disconnect Transmission side 28 pole connector (X-201) and check below resistance at (X-201) connector terminal Measure Resistance (Ω) Component check Pin 23 (T_SPEED_PWR to transmission housing >500k ok External wiring harness and speed sensor Pin 18 (T_SPEED_3) to transmission housing >500k ok External wiring harness and speed sensor ➢ Remove vehicle connector from TCU, Disconnect speed sensor connector and check below resistance at speed sensor connector terminal Measure Resistance (Ω) Component check Pin 2 (T_SPEED_PWR to transmission housing >500k ok TCU and External wiring harness Pin1(T_SPEED_3) to transmission housing >500k ok TCU and External wiring harness
