U2102-00 Engine Lead torque defect Overview: ISO Code U2102-00 Customer Symptom • AMT shifting: drivability effect • Transmission Fault Lamp ON Fault Effects (On Vehicle) • AMT shifting: drivability effect • Transmission Fault Lamp ON Lamp Status (If Any) Transmission Fault Lamp ON (Service indication 0x2) Fault Detection Condition Set CAN lead engine torque signal to error value (FFT = 1100ms) Normal Operating Condition EMS signals to TCU that engine lead torque information on CAN is valid Probable Trouble Area 1. Engine controller. 2. Vehicle side connector on TCU. 3. Wiring harness towards TCU. 4. TCU. Healing Condition The reaction is cleared during driving if the detection is FALSE for more than 1100 ms Component Details:- Engine lead torque signal is transmitted via CAN bus to the TCU. In case of this particular DTC being set, it is expected that an EMS component is at fault. Preliminary Checks:- 1) Loose/ Damaged EMS sensor/actuator Connections.
