Nos. written in the first component replacement table of the matrix represent their priority in execution (no.1 written against the particular routine needs to be performed first and so on). For example- If you have replaced the TCU (EEPROM Recoverable) in the vehicle, you need to execute the routines in following sequence. 1. Extract complete EEPROM from TCU using service tool. 2. Remove Component from vehicle as per steps mentioned in service manual 3. Install Component from vehicle as per steps mentioned in service manual 13. In case of new software version available TCU needs to be flashed accordingly 8. Flash complete EEPROM in TCU using service tool 6. Perform KEY cycle (Key OFF and open the door-wait for 15 sec-door close and key ON) 5. Execute CPC adaption using service tool ($F889) 6. Perform KEY cycle (Key OFF and open the door-wait for 15 sec-door close and key ON) 1. Extract complete EEPROM from TCU using service tool. 12. Clear DTC 7.2 Routine Procedure for TCU replacement where EEPROM is readable 1. The precondition as below: a. Ignition ON b. Gear Shift Lever in P position. c. Engine is OFF 2. Please check EPROM is readable or not by following: a. Send Read DID Service 22 F180 “bootloader version” similar to “ITCUDT1MBL017” b. Send Read DID Service 22 F195 “software package” similar to “CTCUHIMAVS014C02”. 3. If above both DIDs return a negative value, go to section 7.1 4. If above both DIDs return a positive value, upload adaption values. 5. Read HCU and CPC data from TCU through service Tool.
