Remove all connectors from TCU. 8. Replace the new TCU. 9. Connect all connectors to the TCU. 10. Connect the Diagnostics tool to OBD connector. 11. Perform Write HCU and CPC data (which was read earlier from old TCU) through service Tool in new TCU. 12. After successfully writing above data, Switch OFF for 10 seconds and then switch ON Ignition. 13. Write the VIN number inside the TCU. 14. After successfully writing above data, Switch OFF for 10 seconds and then switch ON Ignition. 15. Switch on IGN, Clear DTC and Check the DTC if any. 16. If above writing is not successful then DTC P180A will be logged in TCU. 17. If no DTC logged then drive vehicle for 4-5 kilometer and ensure there is no DTC logged in TCU. 7.3 Routine Procedure for TCU replacement where EEPROM is NOT readable 1. The precondition as below: a. Ignition ON b. Gear Shift Lever in P position. c. Engine is OFF 2. Please check EPROM is readable or not by following: a. Send Read DID Service 22 F180 “bootloader version” similar to “ITCUDT1MBL017”
