Pre-Conditions for adaptions ➢ Transmission oil temperature should be in the range 30-90 Deg C ➢ Engine speed range 800-1500 Approx. ➢ GSL position in Park Adaption Fail condition ➢ Oil temperature less than specified temperature range ➢ Difference between actual engine speed and idle lift up speed should not be greater than 70 RPM ➢ During adaption respective clutch should be availble on neutral position. Adaption Abort Condition ➢ Adaption request via UDS is not received or interupted. ➢ Failure in CTC or CPC during safe state condition active. Adaption process in vehicle ➢ Perfrom the ignition cycle and crank the vehicle and achieve the safe state as described ➢ After cranking, considering all pre-conditions for adaptions as described are met run the cpc adaption routine to start adaption. ➢ Once process is started person can feel engine speed revving up as requested by UDS command to perform the adaptions. ➢ During entire process ensure safe state conditions are not violated and hand break is engaged for safety . ➢ To complete the process it usually takes 3-4 Min. ➢ After completing the adaptions, turn off the vehicle for minimum 10 seconds and give the key cycle. Ensure break paddle is pressed from start to next key cycle. ➢ In case of adaption failed or aborted, perform key cycle and ensure the safe state and preconditions are met and re-start the adaptions process.
