Engine shutoff to safeguard DMF Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Engine shutoff due to DMF resonance condition to protect DMF Lamp Status (If Any) NO Lamp Fault Detection Condition Please refer Gear Vs Engine Speed table given below Normal Operating Condition No resonance of DMF Probable Trouble Area Low Battery Health, Early release of brake while starting engine Healing Condition Next normal drive cycle Fault permanent deletion 1. Scan tool Service 14. 2. Stack Over Flow. 3. 40 warm up cycles. 4. ECU Flashing. 5. ECU power fail Note: This fault indicates DMF resonance detection and subsequent engine shutoff. So, do not replace DMF unless it is damaged. Component Details: DMF is Dual Mass Flywheel Preliminary Checks: 1) Check Battery State of charge & health. 2) Check Brake Switch 3) Keep Brake pressed fully and until engine has started completely 4) Check engine speed sensor 5) DMF.
