IPC Specific Diagnostic Specification for Nexon MCE 2 CNG 4” Digital Cluster program 5. Nexon MCE2 (4 Inch) IC Flashing Strategy when IC is functioning (Online) Following are the steps to Re-flash the IPC ECU. Step 1: Make the IGN ON. Note down the value of Odometer in IPC. Step 2: Connect Diagnostics Tool (Samtec/VConnect) to OBD connector in IGN ON. Step 3: IC compatibility check: We should check if the new IC software is compatible for Flashing. Compare the “Hardware control module” from server & Instrument Cluster using following DIDs. Sr No DID Parameter Name 1 F187 Hardware control module Above parameter in IC should match with PLM data. If Data is not matching, then check for compatible Instrument Cluster. Step 4: Flashing Files Selection: Based on Hardware control module (DID F187) Number, Select / Download only Respective SBL (S07) & Application (S19) files present on PLM Server. Please Do Not Select / Download Configuration file. Step 5: Flashing Sequence: Follow the Flashing Sequence mentioned in the Document “IPC_X4_Service_Diag_Spec_release”, please refer latest version of the document. Note: Sequence is updated to download the SBL and Application software files only.
