5. E-DRIVE ASM MEC REMOVAL 1. Remove the Headlining. (Refer sunroof removal procedure as mentioned above) 2. Remove the wire harness connector snap from E- DRIVE ASM MEC. 3. Remove mounting screws on E-DRIVE ASM MEC. 4. Take out E-Drive ASM MEC. ASSEMBLY For Assembly, Follow the reverse procedure of removal. 1. Adjust E-Drive ASM MEC orientation to holes & GP marking on FRAME FUNCTIONAL ASM. 2. No rotation of E-Drive ASM MEC after engaging with cables. 3. Tighten screws on E-Drive ASM MEC with specified torque 3 ± 0.375 N-m. 4. Check WIRING HARNESS ASM connector & E-DRIVE ASM MEC need align with permanent mark green color on both then assemble it. 5. Initialize ROOF ASSY, OUETR SLIDING. (Refer Re-initializing & Teach Procedure mentioned above) 6. Check the operation for all Glass Assy A (GPA) positioning. (Tilt up / Down, Open / Close) & Roll blind Asm positioning. (Open / Close/partial open) CAUTION WIRING HARNESS ASM connector & E-DRIVE ASM MEC need align with permanent mark green color on both then assemble it WARNING During emergency operation of the sunroof motor, the roof may move suddenly and can cause personal injury. NOTE Check that ignition is “OFF” or battery negative (-) cable is disconnected when performing emergency operation of the sunroof motor. CAUTION Always use hand gloves. BODY 19
