Trouble Shooting:-
Step Checks
IF YES
IF NO
1.
Are Starter Relay / Crank inhibit Contacts weld / Stuck
Open?
Replace the Relay
Go to Step 2
2.
Perform Actuator check for starter relay and Crank Inhibit
relays. Is the actuator test successful?
Go to step 4
Go to step 3
3
Are there any faults related to Starter relay / Starter Relay-2
/ Starter feedback - P081A-11,P081B-12,P3003-12, P0615-
13, P0616-11, P0617-12, P0817-13, P3004-71 & P3005-
13?
Rectify them by
following their
rectification
procedure
Go to step 4
4
Is starter solenoid burnt / damaged
Replace the starter
Motor
Go to step 5
5
Is crank shaft stuck / jammed
Rectify / replace
component
Go to step 6
4 Fault Still Persists?
Replace starter
Motor and then if
Fault still persists
then Replace EMS
ecu
Follow the steps
again for
reconfirmation
DTC’s confirmation:-
After rectification, ensure the following points by referring engine parameters using TML diagnostic tool before
handing over to customer.
1. Crank the vehicle, if Vehicle starts then confirm that fault got rectified.
