Are there any pins backed out from the Glow plug/EMS
ECU Connector
Rectify/Replace
Connectors
Go to Step 5

Is EMS ECU signal Pin 26 or pin 57, open circuited?.
Repair the harness
as per the schematic Go to Step 6

Is glow plug physically Damaged
Replace Glow plug
Go to Step 7

Fault Still Persists?
Replace glow plug
and then Fault still
persists then call hot
line
Follow the steps
again for
reconfirmation
DTC’s confirmation (checks before handing over vehicle to customer):
x
After rectification perform actuator test for Glow plugs and ensure the result is positive
x
Check the errors at Ignition ON, engine running @ Idle & Flyup with different vehicle speeds also
x
If error present, then rectify the errors.
x
Confirm that there are no errors logged by EMS before handing over vehicle to customer
