Trouble Shooting:
Start
Read IVN DTCs in ECM
Is Bus Off in
ECM in current state?
No (In history)
1.Remove ECM from vehicle wiring harness.
2.Measure the resistance between following lines in
ECM vehicle side wiring harness
1. CANH &CANL,
2. CANH & Ground ,
3. CANL & Battery,
4. CANH &Battery and
5. CANL &Ground
Is resistance
R < 10ohm ?
Check the resistance between
CANH and CANL of ECM
connector in vehicle wiring
harness.(with IPC connected on
the vehicle)
Clear DTC
Stop
There is short circuit failure
in between respective two
lines
Do necessary repair in
the harness
Yes
Yes
No
Is resistance
≠
120
ohm ?
Yes
Check the continuity between
1. ECM CAN_H & IPC CAN_H
2. ECM CAN_L & IPC CAN_L
In vehicle side connectors
Do necessary repair in the
harness
No (120
ohm)
