Trouble Shooting:-
DTC’s confirmation:-
After rectification, ensure the following points before handing over the system to the customer.
a) Check whether Key In input IPC shall not do the welcome strategy 4sec at ignition key ON.
Turn ON Ignition.
Connect the TML Diagnostic Tool.
Check the status of DTC’s (Memorized/Current)
Record the DTC & Clear DTC’s
Turn Ignition OFF & ON
Verify If DTC U1010 -14 is present
Is DTC
U1010-14 is
Present?
Check for continuity between
Pin No.J1-10(Gnd) & J2-1 of
ECU Connector or Open
circuited.
Is Continuity
Present?
Key In input is Short Circuit to Ground or Open.
Rectify Fault at wiring Harness to recover the fault.
Clear the DTC & verify the function of Key input
barrel.
Clear the DTC from the ECU
memory.
Turn Ignition OFF & ON.
Check the function of Key Input
barrel & also key out & keyIn and
check the cluster is doing welcome
sweep in gauges.
