C1326 - 00: ASIC internal voltage faults – too low or too high supply voltage at start up

Customer Symptom

No PSCM functionality (Heavy steering)

Fault Effects (On Vehicle)

No assistance

Lamp Status (If Any)

Warning Lamp ON

Fault Detection Condition

Low or high voltage from Battery at start up

Normal Operating Condition

PSCM should provide assist if steering wheel is steered after

engine is cranked. Normal operating range:

ECU will be awake from 6V to 16 V.

Full assistance is b/w 10V to 16V

Reduced assistance is b/w 8.7V to 10V

Drive motor “A” phase current b/w 0 to 60 Amp
