Check the wiring harness resistance between CAN_H and CAN_L @
Diagnostic OBD connector
Is Resistance
60
Ω?
Is Resistance
120
Ω?
Check if ECM and IPC are
connected properly
Repair the wiring harness
Is Resistance 0
Ω
to
10
Ω?
YES
YES
NO

Connect ECM and
IPC properly
Is resistance between 0 to 10?
NO
YES
Check the continuity of
the CAN wiring harness
between IPC and ECM (
terminating ECUs) is continuity there?
NO
YES
There is short between CAN_H- CAN_L and
IC tale tell indication is ON
Resistance is in Mega Ω; both
terminating ECUs are not connected
Check
for short conditions between
CAN_H and CAN_L
with Batt and GND.
