4. Customer Requirement

4.1.

Deletion of lost smart Key without addition of new smart

key

.

1) Dealer calls customer with his vehicle.

2) Delete lost key by using the diagnostic tester. (Refer section 2.4 “Smart key addition

procedure”).

3) Tests vehicle with original smart key, return the vehicle back to customer.

4.2.

Deletion of lost smart key and addition of new smart keys

1) Customer informs dealer with smart key-tag number.

2) Dealer orders spare smart key to SPD with key-tag number.

3) SPD prepares smart key from blank smart key on key duplicating machine and sends spare

smart key to dealer.

4) Dealer calls customer with his vehicle.

5) Delete lost key and learn new key by using the diagnostic tester. (Refer section 2.4 “Smart

key addition procedure”).

6) Tests vehicle with original & new smart keys, return the vehicle back to customer.

4.3.

Deletion of all lost smart keys and addition of new smart

keys

1) Customer informs dealer with key-tag number (if key number is known for sure with

customer).

2) Dealer sends key tag number provided by customer while ordering spare smart key to SPD.

a) SPD sends data received from dealer to supplier while ordering spare smart keys

b) SPD receives smart keys from supplier.

c) SPD sends spare smart keys to dealer.

3) Dealer calls customer with his vehicle.

4) Delete all lost key and add new keys by using the diagnostic tester. (Refer section 2.3

“Smart key learning procedure”.)

5) Tests vehicle with new smart keys, return the vehicle back to customer.
