Overview

Customer Symptom
All lamps of Instrument Cluster will be ON
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Engine Drag Torque control (EDTC) function will not be
available.
Lamp Status (If Any)
All lamps of Instrument Cluster will be ON
Fault Detection Condition
1. Short circuit between CAN_H -CAN_L, CAN_H -GND,
CAN_L-Vbatt, CANL-GND, CANH-Vbatt.
2. In case of following open circuit failures
1 CANH wire open (pin 26)
2. CANL wire open (pin 14)
3. Both CANH, CANL open
4. Short between CANH and Vbatt and CANL and GND.
Note in case of Bus off logged due to open circuit
failure, only ABS lamp will be ON
Normal Operating Condition
ECU communicates properly with TML diagnostic Tool.
Probable Trouble Area
CAN_H and CAN_L wires
Healing Condition
Removal of the above mentioned shorts/open in the wiring
harness or at ECU pin.
