B1928–12 :PACM Active LED Indicator – Short to Battery

Overview:

9928-12

Customer Symptom

1. User cannot judge if Park assist is in ON or

OFF.

3. PDC active LED remains in ON condition even

if park assist is inactive. User cannot judge if

Park assist is in ON or OFF.

2. PDC active LED remains in OFF condition

even if park assist is active. However PDC

functions normally.

Fault Effects (On Vehicle)

No

Lamp Status (If Any)

No

Fault Detection Condition

1. User cannot judge if Park assist is in ON or

OFF.

2. PDC active LED remains in OFF condition

even if park assist is active. However PDC

functions normally.

3. This DTC gets logged when connection

between PDC ECU and PDC Switch Active

LED is short to battery.

Normal Operating Condition

3. When user presses PDC Activation switch,

Park assist gets activated with Active LED ON

and user can see park assist screen in Head

Unit.

4. When user presses PDC switch during park

assist is active, LED goes in OFF state.

Probable Trouble Area
