P0563-17: System Voltage High - Circuit Voltage Above Threshold
Overview:
ISO Code
P0563-17
Customer Symptom
Vehicle performance will get affected.ECU Disconnection- May lead to
vehicle stall
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Vehicle start and battery Charging while driving may get affected
Lamp Status (If Any)
CE lamp ON after 3 drive cycles
Fault Detection Condition
This fault gets logged if EMS ECU receives Battery voltage more than a
calibrated threshold (14.5 Volts)
Normal Operating Condition
Alternator and Rectifiers Functioning properly, Healthy Battery
Probable Trouble Area
Load Dump, Alternators / Rectifiers Faulty, sulphated terminals.
Healing Condition
Engine Running and after 1 drive cycles of fault rectification
Fault permanent deletion
1. Clear DTC Command form Scan tool
2. Stack Over Flow
.3. 40 warm up cycles.
4.ECU flashing
5. ECU Power-Fail
Component Details:
Lead Acid Battery provides supply voltage to all vehicle electrical and electro mechanical components
Preliminary Checks:
1. Sulphated Battery terminals.
2. Load Dump
3. Alternator / Rectifiers faulty
