Trouble Shooting:-

Step Checks

IF YES

IF NO

1.

Is the Clutch Switch setting proper?

Go to step 2

Correct the setting

as per the clutch

switch TML

drawing

2.

Is there continuity exists between Top Travel Input (10%)

pin 3 and EMS ECU pin 118 && Top Travel Input (10%)

clutch switch pin 3 and Ground.

Go to step 3

Rectify the wiring

harness

connections as per

the schematic

3.

Is there continuity exists between Extended Travel Input

(90%) pin 2 and EMS ECU pin 119 && Extended Travel

Input (90%) pin 2 and Ground.

Go to step 4

Rectify the wiring

harness

connections as per

the schematic

Check whether EMS ECU pins 118 / 119 shorted to battery

supply / Ground

Go to step 5

Rectify the wiring

harness

connections as per

the schematic

Are there any pins damaged at EMS ECU Connector

Replace the

connector or wiring

harness

Go to step 6

Are there any pins backed out from the EMS ECU

Connector

Rectify/Replace

Connectors

Go to Step 7

Is clutch switch connector damaged or pins got backed out Rectify/Replace

Connectors

Go to step 8

If fault still persists,

then replace clutch

switches and if fault

still persists then

replace EMS ECU.

Follow the above

procedure again for

reconfirmation

DTC’s confirmation:-

After rectification, ensure the following points by referring engine parameters using TML diagnostic tool before

handing over to customer.

Drive the vehicle in different gears till vehicle speed reaches 70 Kmph and then check whether the fault is logged or

not. If fault doesn’t get logged then confirm that fault gets rectified.
