Trouble Shooting:-
Step Checks
IF YES
IF NO
1.
Is there any rust/oxidization observed on Pedal Sensor A/B
Terminals
Clean the Rust or
repair or replace
Go to Step 2
2.
Is there wiring harness electrical continuity between
ECUpins 121,138, 105 &Accelerator pedal Sensor 1
Sensor connector pins 4,2,3.
Go to Step 3
Establish continuity
by rectifying
harness
connections as per
the Circuit
schematic
3.
Is there wiring harness electrical continuity between
ECUpins 111,126, 106 &Accelerator pedal Sensor 2
Sensor connector pins 6,1,5.
Go to Step 4
Establish continuity
by rectifying
harness
connections as per
the Circuit
schematic
4. Are there any pins damaged at Pedal Sensor 1/2 /EMS
ECU Connector
Replace the
connector or wiring
harness
Go to step 5

Are there any pins backed out from the Pedal Sensor 1/2
/EMS ECU Connector
Rectify/Replace
Connectors
Go to Step 6
6
Is Pedal Sensor 2 Sensor Supply Pin 126, Pedal Sensor 1
supply pin 138 Short Circuited to GND/Battery.
Repair the harness
as per the schematic Go to step 7
7
Is pedal Sensor 2 Signal Pin111, pedal Sensor 1 Signal Pin
121 Short Circuited to GND.
Repair the harness
as per the schematic Go to Step 8

Is Pedal Sensor 1/2 physically Damaged
Replace Sensor
Go to Step 9

Fault Still Persists?
Replcae Sensor A
/B and then Fault
still persists then
Replace EMS ECU
Follow the steps
again for
reconfirmation
DTC’s confirmation:-
After rectification, ensure the following points by referring engine parameters using TML diagnostic tool before
handing over to customer.
Run the vehicle above 50 kmph and check the fault / DTC. Fault should not reappear.
