HVIL PWM signal sense detects if all HV connectors are fitted to PDU, HV battery, E-drive, On Board Charger, Air compressor, DC DC converter and PDU cover is not open. Preliminary Checks: Check the VECU parameter value for HVIL related vehicle parameter as per below table VECU Parameter Name Expected Value Vehicle HVIL Sense PWM dutycycle 50 (+-5) % Vehicle HVIL Sense PWM Freq 100 Hz PDU HVIL Sense PWM dutycycle 50 (+-5) % PDU HVIL Sense Value Freq 100 Hz Check if following DTC is present in vehicle. DTC Code DTC Description P301F - 13 PDU HVIL Sense PWM - circuit open If DTC is present in active state, refer to P301F -13 troubleshooting and then refer below steps. Depending on the type of fault (open circuit, short to battery or short to ground) following are the parameter values. 1. Check vehicle parameter for dutycycle value (Vehicle HVIL Sense PWM dutycycle). If value is 0. Check the HVIL circuit for short to ground issue. 2. Check vehicle parameter dutycycle value (Vehicle HVIL Sense PWM dutycycle). If value is 100. Check the HVIL circuit for short to battery or open circuit issue. VECU Parameter Name Parameter Value Issue in HVIL circuit Vehicle HVIL Sense PWM dutycycle 0 Short to ground Vehicle HVIL Sense PWM dutycycle 100 Short to battery/ open circuit Check for below parameter value in vehicle. If PDU HVIL Sense PWM dutycycle is 50 (+-5) as per below table, check for HVIL circuit after PDU (Power Distribution Unit) to resolve the issue. VECU Parameter Name Parameter Value Vehicle HVIL Sense PWM dutycycle 100 Vehicle HVIL Sense PWM Freq 0 PDU HVIL Sense PWM dutycycle 50 (+-5) PDU HVIL Sense Value Freq 100
