Reset adaption routine is used to reset the DATASET HCU & DATASET CPC from TCU EEPROM. This routine is required when HCU is replaced inside the transmission or CPC adaption bring to default condition. Safe state for adaptions ➢ Vehicle should be in only Ignition ON state. ➢ Vehicle should be standstill and GSL in PARK MODE (P). Procedure to execute Routine ➢ Before executing the routine download the EEPROM file from TCU to laptop ➢ Run the UDS command Two times to reset each dataset ➢ Perform a key cycle (key off-key on) ➢ Download the EEPROM again to ensure values are reset to default. 1. Replace HCU unit as per guidelines shared. 2. Turn On the Ignition. Then crank the engine and ensure that engine is running. 3. Now keep the precondition as below: a. Ignition ON
