Trouble Shooting:

Step Checks

IF YES

IF NO

1.

Check water in fuel sensor connector is connected to the

sensor or not?

Go to step 2

Connect the WIF

sensor connector to

sensor.

2.

Is the water separator in the fuel filter filled with water?

Drain the water from

the water separator

of fuel filter

Go to Next step

3. Check whether the fuel filter is clogged or damaged

Rectify / replace the

fuel filter

Go to Next step

4.

Check whether EMS ECU pin 74 shorted to Ground or

Open circuited / shorted to battery supply?

Rectify the wiring

harness connections

as per the schematic

Go to Next step

Are there any pins damaged at EMS ECU Connector

Replace the

connector or wiring

harness

Go to step 6

Are there any pins backed out from the EMS ECU

Connector

Rectify/Replace

Connectors

Go to Step 7

Is WIF sensor switch connector damaged or pins got

backed out.

Rectify/Replace

Connectors

Go to step 8

If fault still persists,

then replace sensor

and if fault still

persists then call

hotline

Follow the above

procedure again for

reconfirmation

DTC’s confirmation (checks before handing over vehicle to customer):-

1. Drain Sedimenter contents in a bowl and check for water presence in diesel; If water is present; drain complete

fuel from Sedimenter and fuel filter

2. Check the errors at Ignition ON, engine running @ Idle & Flyup with different vehicle speeds also

3. If error present, then rectify the errors. Confirm that there is not error logged present before handed over vehicle

to customer
