Trouble Shooting:
Step Checks
IF YES

Check whether the VGT Actuator connector is fitted
properly.
Go to Next Step
Fit the connector
properly
2.
Check for P0045 / P0047 / P0048 / P0237 / P0238 / P1235
/ P1236 / P1237 / P1238 / P0236 Faults presence
Rectify them by
following their
rectification
procedure
Go to Next step

Check for clogging of Air filter
Rectify / Replace
Go to Next Step
4.
Check for clog in inlet air circuit
Rectify / Replace
Go to Next Step
5.
Check for charge air leakages in Inlet air circuit
Rectify / Replace
Go to Next Step
6.
Check for damages in all Hoses / Pipes connected in Inlet
Air circuit.
Rectify / Replace
Go to Next step
7. Check for VGT valve / Turbocharger unit Physical damage
Rectify / Replace
Go to Next step

Fault still persists
Call hot line
Follow the above
procedure for re-
confirmation
DTC’s confirmation:
After rectification, ensure the following points by referring engine parameters using TML diagnostic tool before handing
over to customer.
x
Perform the actuator test for VGT valve. Test result should be successful.
x
Crank the vehicle and run the vehicle above 3000 rpm at high vehicle speeds. Ensure that no faults are logged by
EMS.
x
Ensure that there are no faults logged by EMS before handing over the vehicle back to customer.
