Trouble Shooting:
Start
Read IVN DTCs in ECM
Is
MTO logged against ABS
in ECM in current state
?
No (In history)
1. Check continuity between ECM CAN_H to ABS CAN_H and ECM
CAN_L to ABS CAN_L in vehicle wiring side connector.
2. Check ABS ECU fuses ( Battery fuse 25A, Ignition fuse 5A) blown.
3. Also, check ABS ECU is powered up properly. ABS Battery, IGN
and GND connected properly with ABS ECU.
Is continuity
there?
Repair the wiring harness.
Clear DTC

U0121 Loss of communication with Antilock Braking
System- ABS/ESP Bus Signal/Message Failure
Check continuity between
ECM CAN_H to IPC CAN_H and
ECM CAN_L to IPC CAN_L
Check the resistance between ECM CANH
and ECM CANL of ECM connector in
vehicle wiring harness.(with IPC connected
on the vehicle)
Is Resistance
R = 120 ohm
?
No
