EMS ECU Replacement and Flashing/programming process:

Whenever any vehicle’s EMS ECU is replaced with a Virgin/Fresh EMS ECU or a new software version to be

flashed or new software calibration to be re-flashed in an EMS ECU, following steps to be followed after

turning Ignition ON:

Flash EMS ECU using online flashing tool

Perform variant coding*

Whether Injector

code matching with

the injector tag?

Read Injector code from EMS using Tata diagnostic tool

Perform Injector learning process

Start SPCS update routine
