U0028 - 13: Vehicle Communication Bus A-open circuit

Customer Symptom
No warning lamp, No heavy steering
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Default steering assistance
Lamp Status (If Any)
PSCM lamp OFF
Fault Detection Condition
This DTC will appear in case of following open circuit failures:
1. CANH wire open (Vehicle connector pin3)
2. CANL wire open (Vehicle connector pin1)
3. Both CANH, CANL open
4. Short circuit between CANL-GND, CANH-Vbatt.
Normal Operating Condition
ECU communicates properly with TML diagnostic Tool.
Probable Trouble Area
CAN_H and CAN_L wires
Healing Condition
Reconnection of the CAN_H (Vehicle connector pin3) and CAN_L
(Vehicle connector pin1) with the main CAN bus
