U161A – 64 :HU System Customization Data ACK
Overview:
Write up for the system:-
On IGN ON, HU should configure PDC functionality by sending valid PDC User customization
setting data to PDC ECU.

Customer Symptom
When user activates Park assist using Reverse
gear/PDC Fascia Switch/HU, Park assist functionality
will not be available and “critical fault” Screen will be
displayed on HU.
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Park Assist functionality will not available to the user.
Lamp Status (If Any)
No
Fault Detection Condition
1. When user activates Park assist using
Reverse gear/PDC Fascia Switch/HU, Park
assist functionality will not be available.
2. This DTC gets logged when invalid PDC User
customization setting data is received from
Head Unit.
Normal Operating Condition
When user activates Park assist using Reverse
gear/PDC Fascia Switch/HU, Park assist functionality
will be available on HU.
