ECU Replacement – Automatic Procedure
Start
Ignition ON
1. Read VC from IPC/Immobilizer OR
2.
Read VIN from any ECU
Check ECU assembly part No and server ECU assembly
part numbers are matched.
If calibration part No mismatched, then tool to select
appropriate file from the server
Flash PDC ECU for CAL as per diagnostic document
Connect Service Tool
If mismatch occurred, then check Application and
Calibration part numbers.
Clear DTCs of all ECUs in vehicle
End
Perform Power Latch
Read CAL part no from PDC ECU and compare against
server look up table
Get VIN-VC relationship data from PLM server
Write VIN
