4. Field software Upgrade/Re flash – Manual Procedure
Start
Ignition ON
Read VC from IPC/ Immobilizer ECUs
If VC matched, then select SBL, App and CAL
Flash PDC ECU for SBL, App and Cal as per diagnostic
document
Connect Service Tool
Compare VC against tool’s VC lookup table
Get VIN cutoff range for field software upgrade
Clear DTCs of all ECUs in vehicle
End
Perform Power Latch
Read CAL part no from PDC ECU and compare against
tool look up table
