P3015-04: MCU is blank and free starts are exhausted - System Internal Failures

Customer Symptom
Vehicle will not start, starter disable
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
EMS ecu will cutoff Fuel supply for ignition and disable Starter control
signal
Lamp Status (If Any)
Immo Lamp ON
Fault Detection Condition
Fault gets logged if the AES key is not written into EMS ecu.Incase this
DTC is appearing, pls. note that vehicle is running without the safety
function of immobilizer.
Normal Operating Condition
Immo and EMS are paired in manufacturing while vehicle is dispatched
from plant & this DTC is not expected. Incase EMS ecu is replaced & no
pairing operation is carried out, this DTC will get logged.

Healing Condition
After 1 drive cycle of fault rectification
Fault Permanent deletion
Stack Over flow
After 40 drive cycles of fault rectification.
Diagnostic command to clear DTC’s
Component Details:
Immobilizer system is designed to prevent vehicle theft by electronically disabling the engine starting system. The engine
can be started only with vehicle’s original immobilizer ignition key, which has an electronic identification programmed
code.
Immobilizer unit (VICM) is an add-on part on the ignition switch, fitted on the steering column. The engine can be started
only with the vehicle’s original immobilizer ignition key. The electronic key communicates the identification code to
immobilizer (VICM) when the key is turned to the "Ignition ON" position.
Immobilizer comes with two Electronic keys (E-key)
Preliminary Checks:
1.
Check whether AES key is written into EMS ecu.
