Trouble Shooting:
Step Checks
IF YES
IF NO
1.
Check the clutch sensor gap between the Sensor Magnet
and pedal as per the Sensor mounting specification. Any
deviations found?
Mount the sensor as
per the instructions
Go to Next step
2.
Is there continuity exists between 40% clutch switch pin 3
and EMS ECU pin 50 && 90% clutch switch pin 2 and EMS
ecu pin 17.
Go to step 3
Rectify the wiring
harness
connections as per
the schematic

Check whether EMS ECU pins 17 / 50 are shorted to
battery supply / Ground
Rectify the wiring
harness connections
as per the schematic
Go to Next step

Are there any pins damaged at EMS ECU Connector
Replace the
connector
Go to step 6

Are there any pins backed out from the EMS ECU
Connector
Rectify/Replace
Connectors
Go to Step 7
7
Is clutch Sensor connector damaged or pins got backed out Rectify/Replace
Connector
Go to step 8

Are there any EMS ECU pins bent / damaged?
Rectify / Call Hot
Line
Go to Next step
9
Fault Still Persists?
Replace Clutch
Sensor
Go to Next step
10 Fault Still Persists after Clutch Sensor replacement?
Call Hot Line
Follow the above
procedure again for
fault rectification
DTC’s confirmation (checks before handing over vehicle to customer):
Read the Clutch State parameter in Diagnostic tool:

When pedal is not pressed

Clutch Engaged
x
When Pedal is partially pressed
–
Clutch Disengaged
x
When the pedal is fully pressed
–
Clutch Fully disengaged
