Trouble Shooting:

Check for any CAN bus related DTC’s

Check for any Vehicle Speed sensor related faults in

Instrument Cluster ECU(Non-ABS vehicle) & in ABS

ECU(ABS variant)

Rectify them by

Go to Step 3

3.

Check for any pin back out at CAN pin 18/19of EMS

connector or back out at speed sensor connector pin.

Rectify/Replace the

Connector

Go to Step 4

4.

Fault Still Persists?

Replace Vehicle

Speed Sensor. If

fault still persists

then replace Ecu

Repeat the

procedure for Fault

Confirmation

DTC’s confirmation (checks before handing over vehicle to customer):-

x

Visually check the speedometer gauge on instrument cluster and vehicle speed signal (with gear information)

status at diagnostic tool at different vehicle speed & at different gear conditions

x

Check the errors at Ignition ON, engine running @ Idle & Flyup with different vehicle speeds also

x

If error present, then rectify the errors. Confirm that there are no errors logged by EMS before handing over

vehicle to customer
