x

Check for back out of pins at both Injector connector and ECU connector.

x

Check for damage of pins at both injector connector and ECU connector.

x

Check the continuity from injector connector pins to the ECU pins.

Trouble Shooting:

Step Checks

IF YES

IF NO

1

Check the Injector Connector for any damage

Replace connector

Go to step 2

2.

Is there any dirt or Rust on Connector

Remove the

connector and clean

it and refit it tightly

Go to Step 3

3

Perform the Injector cylinder 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 actuator test.

Are the test successful

Go to step 4

Some problem in

Wiring harness

connections /

Injectors. Rectify

them.

4.

Check the continuity between the EMS ECU pin 6, 25,

44,63 and connector their pin 2. Check the continuity

between the injector connector pin 1 and EMS ECU pin 7.

Is continuity test successful

Go to step 5

Establish continuity

by rectifying wiring

harness

connections as per

the schematic.

5.

Is the Injector connector pin 1 short circuited to

battery/Ground? Perform this test by keeping Ignition Off. Is

it functioning properly?

Go to Step 6

Rectify Wiring

Harness

connections as per

the schematic

6.

Check whether the Injector LSD and EMS ECU pin 6, 25,

44,63 is short circuited to ground

Rectify Wiring

Harness

connections as per

the schematic

Go to step 7

7

Check whether all the injector pair wiring harness

resistance is in the range of 50 milli ohms to 150 milli ohms Go to Step 8

Replace the

injector wiring

harness whose

resistance is out of

range

8. Is the resistance across any of the injector terminals less

than 12.25 ohms for all 4 injectors?

Go to Step 9

Replace the

corresponding

injector

9.

Check whether any injector pins are backed out at ECU

Connector or Injector connector

Rectify the

connections

Go to Step 10

10 Is there any physical damage to Injector connector / ECU

Connector

Replace the

respective

connectors

Go to step 11

11 If the fault still persists

Call Hot line

Repeat the above

procedure for

reconfirmation

DTC’s confirmation (checks before handing over vehicle to customer):

x

Please fit the injector with its connector on wiring harness and remove ECU connector and check for continuity

between injector and the ECU connector.
