No PSCM functionality (Heavy steering)
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
No assistance
Lamp Status (If Any)
Warning Lamp ON
Fault Detection Condition
ASIC internal voltage faults due to internal electronic failure
Normal Operating Condition
PSCM should provide assist if steering wheel is steered after
engine is cranked. Normal operating range:
ECU will awake from 6V to 18V.
Full assistance is b/w 10V to 16V
Reduced assistance is b/w 8.7V to 10V
Probable Trouble Area
Internal ECU failure.
Healing Condition

Preliminary Checks:
1. Voltage at the battery terminals should be greater than 9V and less than 16V.
2. PSCM power supply connector should have voltage between 11.5 to 16 volts for full assistance.
3. Check battery cable, wiring harness and PSCM connector terminals for damage. If not ok replace the vehicle
wiring harness.
