C1315 - 64: Steering angle – Signal Plausibility failure

Customer Symptom
Active return and end stop disabled
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Assistance continues to be provided. Active return and End
stop disabled
Lamp Status (If Any)
Warning Lamp OFF
Fault Detection Condition
Active return and End stop disabled due to improper PSCM
Steering angle calibration.
Normal Operating Condition
PSCM should provide assist if steering wheel is steered after
engine is cranked. Normal operating range:
ECU will awake from 6V to 18V.
Full assistance is b/w 10V to 16V
Reduced assistance is b/w 8.7V to 10V
Probable Trouble Area
PSCM Steering angle is not calibrated correctly due to
mechanical component of steering system is out of tolerance
limit.
