Trouble Shooting:
Start
Read IVN DTCs in ECM
Is
MTO logged against TCM
in ECM in current state
?
No (In history)
1. Check continuity between ECM CAN_H to TCM CAN_H and ECM
CAN_L to TCM CAN_L in vehicle wiring side connector.
2. Check if TCM ECU fuses are blown.
3. Also, check TCM ECU is powered up properly. TCM Battery, IGN
and GND connected properly with TCM ECU.
Is continuity
there?
Repair the wiring harness if
continuity is not there
Clear DTC
Stop

U0101 Lost of communication with Transmission
Control Module- Bus Signal/Message Failure
Check the continuity between
ECM CAN_L & IPC CAN_L
And
ECM CAN_H & IPC CAN_H
In vehicle side connectors
Check the resistance between ECM CANH
and ECM CANL of ECM connector in
vehicle wiring harness. (with IPC connected
on the vehicle)
Is Resistance
R = 120 ohm
?
No
