21)Write the same AES_SK code (using tester tool) in EMS ECU as well. Please refer EMS
diagnostic specification to write AES_SK code in EMS ECU.
22) Learn the Smart key. (Follow “Smart Key learning procedure” as given in section 2.3
below).

Read response 62 44 3D B1 B2 B3 ………. B64. Where B1 to B8 represent smart
key/ UID ID of keyline-1, B9 to B16 represent smart key/ UID ID of keyline-2 and so
on,
i. If any of byte B1 toB8 is non-zero, then smart key/ UID 1 is learned.
ii. If any of byte B9 to B16 is non-zero, then smart key/ UID 2 is learned.
iii. If any of byte B17 to B24 is non-zero, then smart key/ UID 3 is learned.
iv. If any of byte B25 to B32 is non-zero, then smart key/ UID 4 is learned.
v. If any of byte B33 to B40 is non-zero, then smart key/ UID 5 is learned.
vi. If any of byte B41 to B48 is non-zero, then smart key/ UID 6 is learned.
vii. If any of byte B49 to B56 is non-zero, then smart key/ UID 7 is learned.
viii. If any of byte B57 to B64 is non-zero, then smart key/ UID 8 is learned.

Check number of smart keys/ UIDs learned are equal to required smart keys/ UIDs
to be learned. If not, Learn smart key/ UID again.
24)Store ID of each smart key/ UID onto server after successful learning.
25) Turn OFF the IGN for 20 sec by pressing start stop switch.
26) Turn ON the IGN by pressing start stop switch. Keep learned smart key/ UID inside the
vehicle while turning ON the IGN.
27) Lock AES_SK code in PEPS ECU.

ii. Check Start routine response of the routine 71 01 4F 0A XX YY. XX =
RoutineStatusRecord, RoutineInformation, YY = Response additional data
